Haileigh is a Year 11 student at Damascus College, Ballarat, and an aspiring Neurologist.

In 2022 Haileigh was a participant in the Ballarat Tech School Girls in STEM program. In 2023 she returned as a Student Leader for the Girls in STEM program and completed 5 days’ work experience at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI) with Professor Misty Jenkins. Prof Jenkins is also Co-Head of Research Strategy at The Brain Cancer Centre.

In early 2023 Haileigh interviewed Professor Misty Jenkins to celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
